Resource Conservation is a division of the Boulder County Administrative Services Department and is housed in the Boulder County Recycling Center, 1901 63rd Street (one block north of Arapahoe), Boulder, Colorado, 80301. Division staff include: Jeff Callahan - Manager, Hilary Collins - Assistant Manager, Jennifer Bohn, Ben Brown, Gale Elstun, Rick Green, Eric Heyboer, Doug Parker, Fred Stites, and Tami Wireman.

The division manages the contract with Eco-Cycle for the operations of the new recycling center, operates Boulder County's household hazardous waste program, licenses waste haulers providing services within Boulder County, operates waste transfer stations at Allenspark and Nederland, and drop-off recycling centers in Allenspark, Lyons, Nederland and Niwot. It also provides countywide public education and outreach, on-farm composting opportunities for municipal organic waste disposal, a yard waste drop-off site in Boulder for use by unincorporated county residents, slash/wood collection at Nederland, and wood chipping reimbursement programs for selected mountain communities.

In addition, the division manages services for Boulder County government offices including in-house recycling services, and assists in funding the school recycling education program provided by Eco-Cycle.
